British short film 'The Silent Child' that grabbed a 2018 Academy Award has two Iranian born artists on the crew list.
'The Silent Child', which tells the story of a girl who struggles to communicate, was named best live action short film at the 90th annual Academy Awards.
The film has enjoyed Ali Farahani and Amir Konjani, both originally from Iran, as Director Of Photography and Music Composer, respectively.
Farahani is a multi-award-winning Director of Photography with more than 14 years experience in the film and television industry worldwide.
Konjani is a renowned composer, conductor, conceptual artist and performance art maker.
'The Silent Child' tells the story of a profoundly deaf four-year-old girl who lives a silent life until a social worker teaches her how to communicate through sign language.
The 90th Academy Awards show was held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, the US, on Sunday.
